A dream venue in the heart of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kentlands Mansion captures the elegance of the early 1900s. The 22-foot high ceilings combined with exquisite crystal chandeliers and perfectly polished hardwood floors have been dazzling for decades. We teamed up with our premier wedding planner, Stephanie White from Stephanie White Events, to create a styled shoot that showcases the historical stateliness of this Maryland landmark.
The inspiration for this shoot came from the idea of “Silver Elegance,” with rich tones of purple to give a regal feel. The platinum dishware and silver-trimmed dinner settings create a polished, finished look, especially alongside crisp, white satin napkins.
To soften the sleek table setting, vined, “Spring-like” flowers add a feminine touch to the silver setting and cover the tables draped in lilac, Nova Swirl linens. The floral creations from Creative Floral Designs are a mix of pink and purple roses, lilies, and camellia. Long strands of pearls are draped through the arrangements and cascade down the sides of the tables to add a classic elegance reminiscent of the mansion itself.
The end result? A stately, elegant space to celebrate your wedding day to match the overall feel of this fabulous venue.
